Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is seeking a seasoned Product Management Director to drive profitable growth by leading cross-functional teams and managing the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement) using a commercial, technical, financial, and operational mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of product business plans for Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) / Cell Broadcast Systems / Public Warning Systems.
  • Coordinate the entire product development cycle with Technical Product Managers (TPMs), from ideation to launch and its business lifecycle.
  • Ensure that final products meet the needs of both the business and the end-user.
  • Set milestones, timelines, and deliverables for the technical components of the product, in accordance with customer priorities.
  • Manage interdependencies to avoid bottlenecks and delays via close coordination with TPMs and engineering.
  • Review tech specs with internal and customer technical teams.
  • Evaluate architectural, standard body specifications, and market trends to position and maintain market leadership.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and improve customer satisfaction with existing products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product lifecycle management in the Telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with agile is a must.
  • Hands-on experience of managing all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web techniques.
  • Hands-on experience of cloud services and technologies.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. offers a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $180,000, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
