We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at W.W. Williams. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with customers to determine their needs and concerns, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Match customer needs with our product offerings and propose solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
- Identify sales opportunities beyond current needs and provide customers with information to make informed decisions.
- Use extensive product knowledge to identify exact parts needed and provide accurate pricing and availability information.
- Emphasize product features and benefits, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare orders for sales obtained.
- Enter products sold into our computer system to ensure accurate inventory levels and customer invoices.
- Recover freight costs by following our current freight policy.
- Process customer payments in any of the acceptable forms, while observing credit policies.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Estimate date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of our inventory and stock delivery schedules.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
