Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Productions Manager to join our team at The City of Watertown. As a key member of our Media and Communications Department, you will be responsible for creating and producing high-quality multimedia content that engages our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement multimedia content strategies to promote the city's events, services, and initiatives.
  • Manage the creation, production, and technical maintenance of audio and video equipment and online media.
  • Collaborate with the Media and Communications Director to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging videos, graphics, and other types of media.
  • Work closely with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth production and distribution of multimedia content.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year degree in a communications-related field (i.e., graphic design, visual communications, audio production, broadcast journalism).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced video production environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
