As an Underground Construction Superintendent, you'll play a vital role in overseeing daily operations and projects, ensuring productivity and quality of work. You'll work closely with our team to coordinate with supervisors and outside plant managers to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate jobs with outside services, including subcontractors and management
  • Organize equipment, materials, and labor to complete projects on time
  • Verify accuracy of locates, materials, and billings
  • Call in or email locates as needed
  • Complete change orders, following procedures, and pass information to contract administrators and billing department
  • Monitor production reports
  • Complete final asbuilts and tab sheets of units placed
  • Complete redlining process
  • Support supervisors and foremen to monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Assist supervisors in managing and retaining employees
  • Monitor and complete paperwork regarding employee accidents and injuries
  • Maintain and document DOT paperwork, if required
  • Review and approve employee time-cards for processing
  • Manage materials using a spreadsheet
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisor experience required
  • Knowledge of quality processes and safety programs
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Knowledge of proper installation processes
  • Proficiency in Internet software, project management software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
  • Current DOT health card certificate and valid driver's license
