We are seeking a highly skilled Material Analyst to join our team at Midwest Industrial Rubber. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Manager in the development and execution of an inventory and production strategy, utilizing lean JIT concepts to minimize on-hand inventory and transportation costs while meeting customer demands for reduced lead times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all Planning Department processes, including material order placements, lead time requests, and order confirmation.
  • Develop and execute training plans for the department, ensuring team members have the necessary skills to improve their confidence and product knowledge.
  • Work with the Manager to maintain training manuals and materials, and assign tasks to team members from the Planner Task List.
  • Support other departmental needs, helping to solve issues and problems, and escalating complex issues to management for resolution.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company through an engaged team, demonstrating strong exhibition of Ammega values.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and actively work to improve our safety program.

  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to 5S principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in material and production planning.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in the US and maintain effective working relationships with all departments.
