Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising behavioral services and strategies for our growing program. You will work one-on-one with children who have a primary or anticipated diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Mood Disorders, or other behavioral challenges to help them grow and learn to the best of their abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavioral plans to ensure safety, structure, and enrichment for the children
  • Provide training to staff, volunteers, and parents on behavioral strategies and techniques
  • Assess the individual needs of each child and develop behavioral plans tailored to their specific needs
  • Provide on-site behavioral interventions, as needed, and model behavioral skills for staff
  • Facilitate groups with caregivers, siblings, and family members to promote understanding and support
  • Develop materials to support behavior training and education
  • Attend team meetings and parent conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Maintain compliance with program policies and procedures
  • Participate in planning aftercare and discharge services to ensure a smooth transition for the child and family

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • BCBA Certification and LBSC License required
  • 1 year of experience providing ABA services
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
