About the Role

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize patient flow through the MRI examination process
  • Clarify and document patient screening and safety procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
  • Perform other duties as trained and assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Preference for two years' experience in a healthcare environment
Preferred Skills
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing work volumes
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to push, pull, bend, and safely transfer patients without assistance.
