Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly motivated MRI Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in optimizing patient flow and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Clarify and document patient screening and safety procedures to ensure a safe and efficient MRI experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, demonstrating a commitment to quality service and patient care.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as trained and assigned, including participating in staff meetings and staying up-to-date on departmental updates.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preference for two years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to push, pull, bend, safely transfer patients, and ambulate without assistance.
