About the Role

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient flow and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clarify and document patient screening and safety procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, demonstrating a commitment to quality service and patient care.
  • Assist with patient flow management, ensuring timely and efficient completion of MRI examinations.
  • Participate in staff meetings and stay informed about updates and changes within the department.
  • Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient history, technical information, and examination results.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preference for two years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing work volumes.
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to push, pull, bend, and safely transfer patients without assistance.
