MRI Assistant Job Description

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Assistant to join our team. As an MRI Assistant, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient flow and ensuring the smooth operation of MRI examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clarify and document patient screening and safety procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Work as a team to achieve common goals
  • Perform other duties as trained and assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preference of two years' experience in a healthcare environment
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend, safely transfer patients, and ambulate without assistance
