Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Construction Project Leader to oversee a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be a key player in a dynamic team, responsible for managing and coordinating multiple facets of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to formulate project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Manage project finances, including budget oversight and financial reporting, to maintain cost control.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other essential project documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote sustainable construction practices whenever feasible.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for all project activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, successfully delivering projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a talent for fostering collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in construction practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles in construction is advantageous.
