Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team at Jobot, a third-generation family-owned and operated General Contractor in Milwaukee. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation
  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
  • Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
  • Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly
  • Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required
