Continental Properties is seeking a Project Engineer - Field Execution to join our Construction Department. In this role, you will collaborate with various members of the construction team and other project stakeholders, including legal, finance, and development, to support multiple initiatives related to the creation and construction of our rental housing communities, which encompass workforce housing, market rate, and build-to-rent projects. This position offers a pathway for professional growth within a stable and expanding real estate development firm. You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits for ongoing construction projects to assess site activities and perform building acceptance inspections.
  • Ensure a high level of project execution, delivering projects on schedule and within budget while adhering to our quality standards.
  • Possess knowledge of codes, permits, and inspection requirements to secure necessary permit approvals and occupancy certificates.
  • Address warranty issues and top concerns from the delivery of the clubhouse to the completion of the last building.
  • Oversee all project closeout procedures.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or Architecture is required; an Associate's Degree with equivalent experience is also acceptable.
  • Up to two (2) years of relevant experience; experience in onsite construction management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software is preferred.
