Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Specialty Surgicare of Las Vegas. As a key member of our ambulatory surgery center, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that all individuals in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
  • Communicate patient status information to other staff members responsible for patient care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment, adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • BLS certification is required within 30 days of start date.
  • State Radiology Technician license is required.
