We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce high-quality images.
- Assist radiologists during biopsies and assume non-technical duties of radiology as needed, including clerical, transportation, and reception tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Advanced certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in the categories of ABD, OBGYN, and neurosurgery is required.
- Current ARRT certification or RVT certification is preferred.
- Current BLS certification is mandatory.
- A high school graduate or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology is necessary.
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program or equivalent is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
