About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dining areas, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and set tables to restaurant standards, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for our guests.
  • Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish-room or specified area, maintaining a clean and efficient workflow.
  • Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Serve beverages promptly, ensuring that our guests receive their orders in a timely manner.
  • Stock bussing stations, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Clean stations, including sweeping the floor using the tools provided, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform buffet set-up and refill if needed, ensuring that our guests have access to a wide range of options.
  • Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary, such as expediting food to tables, demonstrating a willingness to support your team.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and food service.
  • Food Handler Certification (if applicable), ensuring that you are knowledgeable about food safety and handling procedures.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system, prioritizing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Hardworking, dedicated, with a real passion for hospitality, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
