Job Summary

The Industrial Machine Maintenance Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery. This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Diagnose and repair complex machinery issues, utilizing in-house capabilities and outside resources as needed
  • Oversee building repair and maintenance, including fire prevention systems and handyman tasks
  • Schedule and coordinate outside service calls, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues
  • Evaluate, coach, and train employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Design and improve preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
  • Organize and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective replacement of worn or damaged components
Requirements
  • Extensive mechanical and electrical experience, with a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance
  • 5+ years of managerial experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to set and achieve personal goals, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to read and understand dimensioned drawings, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including punch presses, CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and resistance welding machines
  • Programming experience with CNC machines and servo motors
  • Knowledge of PLC controls and other industrial automation systems
