Job Summary:
The Internal Sales Representative, Bank Channel will be part of our Bank Channel team, working closely with Financial Advisors to consult on Athene annuity products and services. This role requires a proactive and direct approach to phone contact, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Regional Vice Presidents to create call lists and prospecting initiatives.
- Assist producers with illustrations, NIGO paperwork, and process questions.
- Build a call schedule with a minimum of 2-4 weeks' notice.
- Conduct lead generation and referral calls.
- Make thank you, pending business, illustration, and follow-up calls.
- Develop sales ideas and marketing strategies, both individually and as part of the team.
- Effectively manage territories through follow-up calls.
- Identify prospective producers.
- Initiate outbound sales telephone calls to clients and prospective clients to position, promote, and sell Athene products.
- Utilize knowledge of company products to develop business through prospecting in the territory and acquiring new producers.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have Series 6.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial services industry sales.
- Prior annuity products sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to execute and deliver against territory/account growth.
- Proven ability to implement and advance Advisor segmentation growth.
- Proven success in building and fostering relationships.
- State Insurance license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods, explaining products, tools, concepts, and processes to a diverse customer base.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
