Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Service Team Member, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Participate in store recovery and maintenance activities, including merchandise recovery, stocking, and planogram implementation.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies.
  • Interact with colleagues in a positive and respectful manner, promoting a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
