Job Description

Job Summary:

The Spa Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest services and maintaining the pool and recreation complex and spa facilities. This role is specifically assigned to the Men's Locker Room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with spa services requests
  • Maintain a crisp and professional physical appearance within company guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and functional work space
  • Attend all required training and safety courses; attend all required department meetings
  • Perform and follow up on any other duties assigned by the Spa Manager on duty

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Ability to use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Outgoing, friendly customer-oriented personality
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to provide clear and concise directions and information to hotel guests
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
  • Ability to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports

Work Environment:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the Spa near the Casino Floor, which is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to the general public and excessive noise.

This position requires the employee to stand for prolonged periods of time as well as frequent walking, sometimes stooping, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Seminole Gaming's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
