Job Title: Spa Attendant

Job Summary:

The Spa Attendant is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional guest services and maintaining the pool and recreation complex and spa facilities. As a Spa Attendant, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with spa services requests, providing a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all needs are met.
  • Maintain a crisp and professional physical appearance, adhering to company guidelines and promoting a positive image of our brand.
  • Ensure that the pool and recreation complex and spa facilities are clean and functional, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Attend all required training and safety courses, as well as department meetings, to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Perform and follow up on any other duties assigned by the Spa Manager on duty, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to work.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to use good judgment in stressful situations, promoting a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and customer-oriented personality, with exceptional guest service skills.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise directions and information to hotel guests.
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
  • Ability to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.

Work Environment:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the Spa near the Casino Floor, a fast-paced and dynamic environment with constant exposure to the general public and excessive noise.

This position requires the employee to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as frequent walking, sometimes stooping, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Employment Process:

Seminole Gaming's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to, credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screens.
