About the Role

As a Senior Agronomy Sales Representative at CHS Inc., you will play a key role in driving business growth by developing strong relationships with farmers, ranchers, and producers. Your primary objective will be to showcase the benefits of our crop protection, crop nutrients, seed products, and other essential services, resulting in impactful on-the-farm sales presentations that drive success for local producers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to assist, advise, and develop supply economics and strategies in region.
  • Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis.
  • Manage P&L for an assigned territory.
  • Increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers and executing sales programs.
  • Facilitate positive long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create long-term, repeat business.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
  • Create, develop, and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that capture maximum value.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Agronomy sales experience is preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field. Outside sales experience, including presentations, utilizing persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independently, is also desired.

Compensation and Benefits

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary, bonus, incentives, and commissions. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000, depending on experience and performance.
