Role Objective:
The Family Coach will utilize a trauma-informed approach to conduct assessments and intakes for families referred to the Building Community Well-Being initiative. This role involves connecting families with coaching case management and preventive resources to help them navigate challenges and establish objectives that foster family success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough intakes and assessments for families
- Link families to relevant community resources
- Organize and lead group activities and special events for families
- Collaborate with families to set and achieve personal goals
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with community resources
- Proficient in coaching and guiding clients
- An Associate's degree in Human Services or a combination of education and experience is preferred
- A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
