Job Title: Senior Audio Visual Systems Engineer

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Systems Engineer to join our team at Verrex Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex audio visual systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Implementation: Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to design and implement integrated audio visual systems that meet the client's requirements and expectations.
  • Unified Communications Engineering: Develop and deploy MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other unified communications platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Site Coordination and Survey: Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors, and electrical contractors to ensure optimal system placement and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain complex audio visual systems, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum 3 years of experience designing AV, videoconferencing, or related technology.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications, such as CTS, CTS-D, and CTS-I.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of systems integration techniques, video, audio control systems, IT, and/or networking experience, working knowledge of AutoCAD, expertise in programming of audio DSP units from multiple vendors, and loading Crestron and AMX code and user interfaces.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer-facing skills, able to multi-task, and troubleshoot effectively.
