As an Infant Educator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Guiding and mentoring less experienced educators in your classroom; demonstrating effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Overseeing classroom management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Acting as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to inspire a love for learning in young children.
  • Implementing our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, catering to the specific needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Creating a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive through play and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with families, sharing updates on their children's experiences and achievements through various channels.
  • Contributing to the success of your center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues to cultivate a dynamic environment where learning and play are seamlessly integrated.
Qualifications:
  • State certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of professional teaching experience is preferred; at least six months of teaching experience is required.
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for this role.
  • A genuine passion for the education and care of young children.
  • Possession of one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
  • Holding an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) or a high school diploma/GED (required).
