As an Infant Educator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Guiding, coaching, and mentoring less experienced educators in your classroom; demonstrating effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Overseeing overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and interactive learning environment.
  • Serving as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to inspire a love of learning in young children.
  • Implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a manner that aligns with the individual needs of each child.
  • Creating a secure, supportive environment where children can engage in play and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and achievements through various channels, including mobile applications and personal discussions.
  • Contributing to your center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Building relationships with families and colleagues to cultivate a dynamic environment where play and learning seamlessly integrate.
Qualifications:
  • State certification is required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience; a minimum of six months of professional teaching experience is required.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • A genuine passion for the education and care of young children.
  • One year of professional teaching experience is preferred, or six months of professional teaching experience is required.
  • An associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, or a high school diploma/GED is required.
