As an Infant Educator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Guiding, coaching, and mentoring less experienced educators in your classroom; demonstrating effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Overseeing the overall management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Acting as a role model, employing a growth mindset to inspire young learners and foster a love for education.
  • Implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, engaging with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a manner that caters to the individual needs of each child.
  • Creating a secure and nurturing environment where children can thrive through play and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and accomplishments through various channels, including mobile applications and personal conversations.
  • Contributing to the success of your center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues to cultivate a dynamic environment where play and learning coexist seamlessly.
Qualifications:
  • State certification is required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience; a minimum of six months of professional teaching experience is required.
  • Preferred: An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; a high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • A genuine passion for the education and care of young children.
  • Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
  • Have an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) or a high school diploma/GED (required).
