About the Role:

Transdev is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ride Observer/Checker. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-scheduled trips on our Fixed Route service area to record and report ridership information.
  • Assist in analyzing key data regarding ridership trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Obtain and review schedules of National Transportation Data (NTD) trips for the week.
  • Record data on provided NTD forms and submit them for data entry into our database.
  • Report any concerns, including cleanliness and damage at lay-over and bus stops, safety violations, and coach conditions.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
