Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in detecting, investigating, and defending against IT security threats targeting ISG's systems and data.
  • Support ISG's day-to-day activities and system usage.
  • Monitor server and firewall logs, scrutinize network traffic, manage anti-virus software, and remediate all security incidents.
  • Analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
  • Monitor and maintain current knowledge of emerging security alerts, issues, threats, and trends.
  • Conduct technical assessments of information security incidents, including malware analysis, packet-level analysis, and system-level forensic analysis.
  • Recommend, schedule, and apply fixes, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other measures required to address security breaches.
  • Deploy and maintain security systems and corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, and antivirus software.
Requirements:
  • Progress toward a 4-year bachelor's or 2-year associate's degree.
  • Experience with VMware, VDI, Office 365 E5, or Fortinet.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
