The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Financial Transactions: Balance transactions, process payments, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review daily reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensuring the hotel's premises are secure and safe for guests and staff.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in accounting and financial management.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
