Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough property inspections using Xactimate software
  • Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses
  • Recommend claim reserves based on investigation
  • Obtain and interpret official reports
  • Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
  • Maintain own current estimating software - Xactimate preferred
  • Working computer, internet access, and Microsoft Word required
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree
  • AIC, IICRC, HAAG, or other professional designations
