Job Summary:

Essentia Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients and support the needs of patients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs

Provide comfort care and other assistance as needed

Appropriately and safely transfer patients

Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping

Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN

Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients to promote the healing process

Requirements:

BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
