Job Title: Nursing Assistant

Join Essentia Health as a Nursing Assistant and contribute to the well-being of our patients. As a member of our team, you will provide direct care to patients and support their needs in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Offer comfort care and other assistance
  • Transfer patients safely and maintain a clean environment
  • Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
Requirements:
  • BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
  • Education: Must meet one of the following requirements: 6 months of nursing assistant experience, completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program, successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire, or verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
