Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients and contribute to their safety and comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Provide comfort care and other assistance
  • Appropriately and safely transfer patients
  • Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
  • Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process
Requirements
  • BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
