Job Overview
This role encompasses the comprehensive leadership and management of the facility, focusing on achieving set objectives and outcomes, ensuring adherence to regulations and organizational standards, overseeing operational and financial stability, and demonstrating effective leadership.
Resident Services Management:
Engages with residents and their families, ensuring effective communication and responsiveness to their needs. Proactively addresses any changes or concerns, maintaining a high standard of service.
Actively listens to residents’ physical and emotional needs, ensuring they are met by oneself or the team.
Ensures effective marketing and communication strategies are in place for all service levels.Risk Management:
Delegates responsibility for daily infection prevention and control measures. Supplies necessary resources and information to support the infection control program. Establishes expectations for data collection and usage to monitor and manage infections. Cultivates a culture of safety, ensuring regular inspections and necessary corrections. Provides resources to maintain a secure environment. Upholds resident rights and ensures compliance with regulations.
Responsible for the implementation of a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, overseeing its daily management and leading monthly committee meetings.
Communication and Documentation Management:
Articulates ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Seeks continuous feedback on performance. Ensures timely and appropriate communication throughout the organization. Guarantees that documentation and reports meet regulatory and policy requirements.
Financial and Operational Oversight:
Collaborates with departmental teams and consultants to manage campus operations efficiently.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred, ideally in healthcare administration, with coursework in business and human resources.
Experience requirements may vary based on location.
Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of practice is mandatory.
Additional licenses may be required based on state regulations and facility needs.
