What Are We Seeking?
SentinelOne is in search of a skilled Senior Partner Sales Engineer to enhance the growth of our channel, cloud service provider (CSP), and managed service provider (MSP) partnerships. This role is vital to our partner and sales ecosystem, aimed at driving adoption and promoting our vision. You will collaborate closely with regional counterparts to position SentinelOne effectively within various partner organizations, conduct demonstrations, provide technical training and enablement, and illustrate how SentinelOne can enhance the partner's offerings.
The position demands exceptional technical, communication, and organizational abilities, along with experience in working with channel and CSP partners, and a solid background in cloud, data, and security concepts. You will assist potential partners in recognizing the advantages of SentinelOne, elucidating technical features, and addressing any potential challenges while cultivating advocates who share a passion for SentinelOne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to identify and assess partnership opportunities, pinpoint key technical objections from partners, and devise strategies to overcome technical hurdles.
- Maintain consistent communication with partner resources to effectively convey how SentinelOne adds value to their operations and their customers.
- Strategize and develop go-to-market initiatives and offerings with SentinelOne partners and internal teams to expand the channel and CSP business.
- Create and implement technical training programs for partners.
- Manage the technical relationship with SentinelOne's partners and coordinate additional technical resources as needed.
- Contribute to the development and lead practical technical sessions at partner locations for offerings such as Capture the Flag (CTF) and Cloud Security Assessments (CSAs).
- Deliver engaging demonstrations and work collaboratively with partners to showcase SentinelOne's value within their environments or solutions.
- Advise on security best practices, cloud architecture, platforms, and application infrastructure necessary for the successful implementation of a comprehensive cloud security solution utilizing SentinelOne.
- Relay feedback from partners to product management to enhance the SentinelOne solution.
- Be driven by partner success and the cultivation of partner relationships.
- Build relationships across various partner types and align them with internal SentinelOne sales engineers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in the field, with a minimum of 3 years in Sales Engineering.
- Experience in cloud computing environments (e.g., technical sales, DevOps, security, sales engineering, or similar roles) is advantageous.
- Understanding of cloud deployments, particularly regarding security and compliance.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; Azure experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern cloud environments, including containerized workloads, serverless computing, and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with SIEM or other data lake solutions is beneficial.
- A solid understanding of cybersecurity, identity security, and endpoint security solutions is essential for success in this role or similar positions in the tech/software industry.
- Awareness of complex cybersecurity threats and attack vectors, as well as various types of endpoint security solutions, such as malware prevention and XDR/SIEM solutions.
- Experience working with CSPs, channel partners, MSPs, GSIs, or alliance partners.
- Proficiency in presenting and delivering technical demonstrations to architects and technical personnel.
- Ability to rapidly learn, adapt, and engage with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, and/or security.
- Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Previous experience in DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Security qualifications such as CEH, SANS, OSCP, CISSP, or similar.
