About the Role:

The Senior Technical Trainer will be responsible for conducting various peacekeeping-related contract training requirements, specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes training on specific task performance objectives, with a focus on building the capacity of international peacekeeping forces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for peacekeeping forces, focusing on building technical and tactical proficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to design and implement training requirements, ensuring alignment with the SOW.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to training teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of training programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience, including a relevant blend of military skills, experience, knowledge, and current certifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of U.S. or NATO military experience in a combat arms specialty, including infantry, armor, cavalry, engineer, field artillery, or special operations forces.
  • Attainment of military grade of E-7 and higher.
  • Experience deployed to an overseas contingency operation since September 11, 2001.
  • Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity building experience in the last 5 years.
  • Experience as a senior trainer, military or civilian, to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building and unit level assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as an instructor in a tactics training unit, developing individual and collective skills intended to develop technical and tactical proficiency.
  • Regional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.
