Moore Mechanical Contractors projects meet first-time quality standards while adhering to our Quality Protocols and building regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively oversee first-time quality and compliance with codes through site teams and quality inspections
Accurately conduct daily assessments of installations according to design, performing inspections as per R.T. Moore Quality Protocols, and generate punch lists
Meticulously monitor rework
Strategically implement production plans and schedules, managing workforce, logistics, equipment, and safety
Carefully oversee project scope and budgets, including piece rate and hourly reporting
Optimize labor and material use through effective planning and leadership
Promptly communicate change order requirements to the Project Manager
Regularly produce Daily Log reports, detailing the needs of the production team and documenting site activities and communications
Thoroughly manage material logistics, staging, job site inventory, and equipment/tool requirements
Professionally engage with builder and customer representatives; attend meetings punctually as required
Consistently adhere to agreed schedules and budgets
Clearly communicate quality and productivity expectations with teams during Daily Huddles
Actively participate in Workforce Development; lead by example—upholding R.T. Moore's code of conduct and Core Values—representing our company with professionalism
Ensure projects are conducted safely, achieving zero injuries or accidents due to negligence or non-compliance
Proactively maintain job site safety. Foster high levels of employee engagement through effective leadership and project management, instilling pride in work and maximizing earning potential
Assist in talent retention and development
REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Adept at prioritizing and coordinating multiple tasks
Independent and proactive in problem-solving and critical thinking
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization
Ability to efficiently enter data
Proficient in basic office technology
Capable of conducting investigations and gathering information independently
Minimum of 2 years of MEP-specific experience OR 5 years in construction
Completion of OSHA 10 training
Demonstrated leadership skills are essential
Knowledgeable in IBC, IRC, and IPC and their application in field installations
Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
Good understanding of construction methods and document interpretation
A desire for growth and challenges; readiness to engage in a dynamic and evolving environment
Familiarity with job site record-keeping and communication practices such as Quality Inspections, toolbox talks, VPO/EPO processes, and Morning Huddles
