Project Lead Mechanic

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Project Lead Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on packaging equipment in our manufacturing area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of new equipment, modifications, and upgrades to existing equipment and systems
- Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of packaging equipment
- Leading projects, training production and maintenance associates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with vendors to ensure timely delivery, best pricing, and quality products
- Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and adjustments
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a maintenance/technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong project management skills, electrical and mechanical background, and knowledge of generators, chillers, PLCs, and pneumatics
- Ability to read and understand English language, possess basic mathematical skills, and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
