Job Title: HVAC Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Engineer to join our team at TP Mechanical Contractors. As a key member of our project management department, you will be responsible for overseeing entire projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and profitable completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper timelines and requirements are met for all projects.

2. Analyze job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports to provide insights on project profitability and status.

3. Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, construction managers, and general contractors to troubleshoot and resolve project issues.

4. Assist with coordination of proper manpower and equipment for each job.

5. Conduct regular job-site visits and meetings to ensure projects are progressing as planned.

6. Review and ensure accuracy of estimated costs and schedules of values.

7. Generate project manager reports and attend project management meetings as required.

8. Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year mechanical experience and/or related educational background.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

5. Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation.

6. Good math ability and basic computer skills.

7. Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Able to walk job sites.

Special Requirements:

Valid Driver's License.
