Position Overview:

The Aesthetic Sales Manager is responsible for strategic account management and driving sales initiatives across a designated region in the United States. This role involves maintaining and expanding relationships within the existing customer base while actively seeking new business opportunities, including competitive accounts and targeted non-core medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance customer relationships and optimize face-to-face selling time in the assigned territory.
  • Formulate strategies for new capital pipeline opportunities, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to validate and advance these opportunities through the sales process.
  • Maintain timely communication regarding all opportunities, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Deliver actionable insights with a focus on achieving sustainable revenue growth across the company's offerings.
  • Utilize active listening and questioning techniques to influence customer decision-making positively.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions to potential clients.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with the Regional Sales Manager to leverage joint efforts effectively.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts based on thorough pipeline assessments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at various organizational levels.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Lumenis products as well as competitive offerings.
  • Update the Call Pattern Tracker regularly to reflect insights on target customers, competitive accounts, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in Salesforce on a daily basis.
  • Submit weekly expense reports consistently.
  • Engage in continuous skill enhancement through company and external training programs, achieving requisite examination standards.

Principal Duties:

  • Implement strategic plans with actionable execution steps.
  • Conduct customer research to identify challenges and needs.
  • Develop sales plans aimed at increasing pipeline opportunities.
  • Close business transactions for all accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide materials that generate opportunities.
  • Stay informed about new developments in current and future technologies.
  • Participate in sales training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and customer relationship management.

Job Complexity:

This role requires the development of account objectives and action plans, balancing short-term goals with long-term sustainable business strategies. Errors in judgment may lead to revenue loss and damage to the company's reputation. The position necessitates frequent internal collaboration with Sales and other departments, as well as external interactions with customers and industry professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (commensurate experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding 100% of sales targets consistently.
  • At least 2 years of experience selling equipment in the Aesthetic market, preferably with lasers or light-based technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a team environment and educate others on industry best practices.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales with quotas exceeding $3M annually.
