The Aesthetic Sales Manager is responsible for providing strategic account management and sales direction within a designated region in the United States. This role encompasses various sales activities, including nurturing and expanding relationships with the existing customer base, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with competitive accounts and targeted non-core medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop comprehensive plans on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis to enhance customer engagement and optimize face-to-face selling time within the assigned territory.
- Formulate strategies for new capital pipeline opportunities, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to validate and advance these opportunities through the sales process.
- Communicate and track all sales opportunities promptly and with urgency.
- Deliver actionable insights that contribute to sustainable revenue growth across Lumenis offerings.
- Utilize active listening and inquiry skills to influence customer decision-making and guide them toward favorable outcomes.
- Craft compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs.
- Foster strong relationships with the Regional Sales Manager to facilitate collaborative efforts.
- Generate accurate forecasts for the territory based on thorough pipeline assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at various organizational levels.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Lumenis products and competitive positioning.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and submit weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Continuously enhance skills through training and demonstrate proficiency through examination success.
Principal Duties:
- Implement strategic plans with tactical execution.
- Conduct customer research to identify specific challenges and needs.
- Achieve accurate monthly forecasts and manage individual expenses effectively.
- Drive sales to meet or exceed established targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create materials that stimulate opportunities.
- Stay informed about advancements in current and future technologies.
- Participate in sales training programs to enhance skills.
- Manage time effectively to optimize productivity.
- Maintain strong customer relationship management practices.
Job Complexity:
This role requires the development of account objectives and action plans that balance immediate goals with long-term sustainable business growth. Poor judgment can lead to revenue loss and damage to the company's reputation. The position necessitates creating tailored solutions based on customer assessments and available product offerings, involving frequent collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding 100% of sales targets consistently.
- At least 2 years of experience selling equipment in the Aesthetic sector, preferably with lasers or light-based technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales with annual quotas exceeding $3 million.
