OPHTHALMOLOGY TECHNICIAN ROLE

Job Summary:

As a valued member of the LifeBridge Health team, we are seeking an Ophthalmology Technician to provide clinical support to our physicians. This role involves working under moderate supervision to assist with various tasks, including scribing, obtaining patient histories, and documenting ocular findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist with patient care, including obtaining medical histories and documenting findings
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information

Requirements:

  • Basic employment skills and entry-level knowledge
  • Less than one year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • COA certification preferred or must complete within 18 months
  • JCAPHO certification preferred
