As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with physicians, mid-level practitioners, and office staff to provide exceptional patient care management and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-energy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for and assist with examination and/or treatment
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  • Document patient history in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
  • Collect routine laboratory specimens, including phlebotomy, urinalysis, and oral swabs
  • Administer medications and non-intravenous injections
  • Start IVs, place catheters, and perform splinting as needed
  • Perform various clinical, aseptic, and laboratory procedures
  • Document medical interventions in EMR
  • Train and assist with Occupational Medicine services
  • Ensure compliance with health care regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance programs

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a MA or EMT program from an accredited institution
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency department
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and injections
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to sit, walk, reach, and perform finger dexterity and hand coordination
  • Occasional lifting of moderate weight
  • Specific vision abilities required
