About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our Specialty Care Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health team at CentraCare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing outpatient diagnostic assessment and family-based psychotherapy services to children and their families impacted by trauma, depression, anxiety, health, and developmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluations to identify treatment needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans to address specific goals and objectives.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with CentraCare's standards.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related Human Services field.
  • State of Minnesota licensure required, with one of the following:
  • The Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
  • The Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) or the Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Full MN licensure (LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC) for independent practice is required within 5 years.
  • Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred.
