Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists. You will also be responsible for preparing, operating, and caring for the equipment being used, processing images and CDs when needed, and adhering to established radiology standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs routine and special procedure imaging, including computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Prepares patients for procedures, including positioning and documentation
  • Assists radiologists during procedures, as needed
  • Prepares, operates, and cares for CT equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance
  • Processes images and CDs, as needed, and adheres to established radiology standards of care
  • Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
  • Assumes responsibility for assigned area and duties, including quality assurance and calibration
  • Adheres to hospital-wide customer service programs and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program or hospital-based program
  • Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection
  • NY State DOH licensure and ARRT registration (RT) and radiography
  • NMTCB registration (CNMT) and DOH IV certification, preferred
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
