Job Title: CT Scan Technologist

Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients correctly for scans, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Perform regular maintenance on CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
  • Interpret physician instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare patients for CT scans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • Accredited educational program in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology or related field.
  • State licensure in Diagnostic Technology and ability to inject IV contrast.
  • Preferred: CT Certification within 12 months of hire.
