Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and special procedure imaging using CT scan equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, observing different and special requirements for each protocol
  • Assist radiologists during procedures as necessary
  • Perform equipment quality assurance and calibrations as needed
  • Process images and print CDs as required
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all work areas, equipment, and accessories
  • Report all malfunctioning equipment to Bio Med or Senior staff
  • Perform routine office duties, such as answering phones and checking previous reports/films
  • Notify transport when patients are ready to be picked up or returned to floors
Requirements
  • Graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
  • Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection
  • NY State DOH Licensure and ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph
  • NMTCB registered (CNMT) and DOH IV certification preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be required to work on call, holiday, overtime, and/or day, evening, and overnight shift coverage to help maintain adequate and safe coverage for the department.
