POSITION SUMMARY:

The Culinary Team Member is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food items, adhering to established recipes and procedures to guarantee exceptional food quality and an outstanding guest experience.

This role also involves maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, organizing stations, properly storing and labeling products, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and fresh, accommodating any allergies or special requests, and engaging positively in a fast-paced setting.

Team members may be cross-trained to enhance staffing flexibility, support team development, and improve restaurant efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inside Expo

  • Effectively read and communicate orders to the team; clearly relay any allergens, special requests, and unique circumstances to ensure proper accommodation; maintain organization of boxes, papers, trays, and the work area.
Salad Station or Make Station

  • Prepare all salad or sandwich recipes according to specifications; ensure all products are at the correct temperature, prepared with optimal quality, and in accordance with any allergies or special requests; cut and prepare products as needed.
Fry Stations

  • Fry, drain, and season chicken or fries; execute recipes and build orders; monitor fryers for temperature, oil levels, and quality; safely filter, clean, and replace oil in fryers; ensure high quality of all prepared items.
  • May assist in the preparation of pickles, mac and cheese, and other items.
Grill Station

  • Butter and grill buns to specifications; season and grill chicken to specifications; ensure high quality of all prepared items.
Sauce Prep

  • Prepare all sauces according to specifications; cup or bag and label all sauces; ensure proper storage.
  • May prepare milkshakes following established recipes.
Chicken Breader

  • Prepare all brine, batter, and breading according to specifications; properly cut and trim chicken; brine, pound, and bread all chicken following recipes and food safety protocols.
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned.
All positions are expected to follow through on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:


REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine willingness to engage positively with guests and co-workers.
Ability to read and comprehend recipes.
Able to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
