POSITION TITLE:
Buffet Setup & Runner
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving food and beverages in accordance with established etiquette standards, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all members and guests.
WORK PERFORMED:
1. *Reviews daily function sheets for any unique arrangements for member or private events.
2. *Receives specific instructions for the day's operations from the supervisor.
3. *Thoroughly understands the directives outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
4. *Completes all preparatory tasks required for each meal service.
5. *Takes food and beverage orders when necessary.
6. *Monitors and reports any concerns regarding excessive alcohol consumption or underage drinking to the supervisor.
7. *Interacts with members in a friendly and courteous manner.
8. *Maintains awareness of timing to ensure everything is prepared and served punctually.
9. *Restocks items as needed and communicates effectively with the host/member, kitchen staff, and management.
10. *Welcomes members/guests upon arrival and ensures all their needs are met or exceeded.
11. *Organizes and keeps the workstation clean and orderly.
12. *Acquires a comprehensive understanding of all food and beverage menus.
13. *Adapts to last-minute changes while maintaining a positive demeanor.
14. *Informs the supervisor of any complaints immediately. Reports any rule violations to the supervisor.
15. *Maintains a neat and professional appearance in accordance with uniform standards.
16. *Reads, understands, and adheres to the Club Bylaws and Rules as necessary.
17. *Completes all closing tasks at the end of the shift.
18. *If required, fills out the server report at the end of the shift.
19. *Carries out any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
20. *Checks in with the supervisor before leaving the premises.
1 year of relevant experience preferred but not mandatory.

F&B Manager or Supervisor

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

5. *May need to use step stools up to 3 feet high.
